Install and Run video

ATTENTION!!!

If your monitor vertical resolution is below 800 pixels (most notebooks) you must use "Move wnd" option.

If you have issue with bot clicking "Find" and don't warp and attack, - select "Slow" or "Very slow" in "Computer speed" option.

After you run VCAF bot do not resize the VEGA Conflict window, you can only move it. Bot will save windows positions, when you click "Save Pos" button and restore them in next run. After you closed VCAF bot window you can do anything you want with VEGA Conflict window, but not earlier.

Vega Conflict bot cannot run in background mode because of Steam bot protection system. However, you can use virtual machine, which can work in background with runned bot.

0. Bot using recommendations

Do not use bot on speed 9 for long time. Better to use 7 or 5 speed.

If you set 5 or 7 speed then use long pauses option in "ALL2" tab or make pauses each 3-5 hours with remote control.

Use "Feedforward warp" option all the time.

If you in alliance then also use "Alliance help" option all the time.

If you farming rebel or delivery fleets then also use "Open strongboxes" option.

I. Before launching Vega Conflict bot you need to do next steps

1. Game must be run from steam.

VCAF bot works only with Steam version of Vega Conflict. If you don't have it, download and install it: http://store.steampowered.com/app/339600/. You can link your existing account to steam after installing it. Look "Account linking" in "Profile" (it's top left rectangle with your avatar in it with gear in bottom right corner) menu in the game.

2. Change your monitor display setting.

Most Windows Vista and 7 computers already have it set correctly, however many Windows 8 and Windows 10 computers do not.

Open up windows explorer on your computer. Paste this in the navigation bar "Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display" for Windows 7/8/10 or "Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization" for Windows Vista. Make sure the size is set to "Smaller - 100%" (Win 7/8/10) or "Default Scale (96 DPI)" in "Adjust font size (DPI)" on the left side of the window (Win Vista). Click "Apply" or "OK" button.

NOTE: some displays needs to set "Medium - 125%" for bot to work. Cause: blurred image and reducing scale at high DPI.

3. Windows Aero and СlearType must be enabled.

4. Turn off monitor scaling.

5. Always launch Vega Conflict in Windowed mode.

Always launch Vega Conflict in Windowed mode before starting VCAF bot. Don't use full screen mode.

6. Select english game interface.

Open "Profile" menu in game and select "Settings" tab. There you must select "English" in "Game Language" option.

II. Launching VCAF bot in first time

1. Download VCAF bot software.

Download VCAF bot software and unpack archive into any directory you want.

2. Prepare bot (VERY RECOMMENDED TO USE).

Warning! Some users have experienced problems with Email/Password form (when you press "OK" button, - nothing happens). If you are also faced with this problem, follow the instructions in this paragraph only after following the instructions in paragraph "II.6.".

Warning! If labels do not appear in the tab "ALL" or bot is buggy, try to change the first two fields to something else in the "VCAF_Prepare". If this does not help, then do not use "VCAF_Prepare" at all.

Launch "VCAF_Prepare.exe". Fill up all fields and press "Apply" button. Look for ".exe" (application) file with name you have entered in "Program name" field. Now it's a main bot program (onwards, the "bot" or "VCAF bot").

In future, when you will update bot with new version, do not delete any files in your bot directory (at least, don't delete ".ini" and ".key" files). Unpack all files from archive with new bot version and overwrite existing files in your bot directory.

Explanation of "VCAF_Prepare.exe": this application replaces existing bot static data with your unique data (that you have come up with and fill up in fields) to prevent detection of bot by Vega Conflict or Steam software (if it will be). You have to do this only one time after each bot update. All data you have entered will be saved and in next update you simply need to run "VCAF_Prepare.exe" and he will fill up all fields for you. All you need to do is push "Apply" button.

Not recommended words: bot, auto, farm, etc.

3. Launch Vega Conflict in Windowed mode.

Launch Vega Conflict in Windowed mode and make sure you are in base, sector or planet view, and there is no other ingame windows or dialogs opened.

4. Launch VCAF bot.

Launch VCAF bot and do not touch your mouse and keyboard until popup window is appeared. In first run you need to enter any of your valid email addresses and create password for your registration.

5. Confirm your email address.

Check your email inbox (it may take 10-15 minutes, also check spam folder) and confirm your email address by clicking on link inside the letter from VCBot.Net site. After confirmation of your email click "OK" on popup window of VCAF bot.

ATTENTION! Email confirmation is mandatory, because the link in the letter makes activation of your account!

WARNING! For each game ID you need a separate registration! Do not attempt to register several game accounts for one account in this system!

6. Saving encryption key.

If you confirmed your email address and correctly entered your email and password then your unique encryption key will be saved in VCAF bot directory. If you delete the program, or delete an encryption key, or simply run VCAF bot in first time on new computer, you can restore your encryption key in any time by entering your email/password.

7. Well done.

Now you need to restart VCAF bot (close VCAF program and run it again). After restart of bot you can start auto farm.

8. Buy Premium status subscription and/or invite new users.

After successful registration you have 3/7 days of "Sector/Simple Premium" status subscriptions for free for testing those functions. If your base level is below 50, then you will receive 4 hours at start and additional 3/7 days of free "Sector/Simple Premium" subscriptions after your base will reach 50 level. At the end of the free subscription, you can buy subscription by clicking on this link and/or invite new users with your invite code from profile page.

You still can use bot without Premium subscription. In this case you can use all fleets as in Premium, but all Premium options will be unavailable for you.

9. Inviting and Invitee.

Inviting and Invitee users will receive additional 14 days of Simple Premium subscription for free immediately after Invetee will enter valid invitation code into form onto profile page, if bases levels of both users is equal or above 55. In any other cases look at table:

Inviter base level Invitee base level Inviter will receive subscription Invitee will receive subscription
Equal or above 55 Below 55 When invitee base will reach 55 level When invitee base will reach 55 level
Below 55 Equal or above 55 When inviter base will reach 55 level When inviter base will reach 55 level
Below 55 Below 55 When invitee base will reach 55 level When inviter base will reach 55 level

NOTE: subscription will be added to your account and you can activate them at any time you want in your profile page (look in the bottom of the page). They are not activated automatically, you have to do it yourself.

10. Premium status.

You can get additional 3 months of Simple Premium status subscription if you will invite 10 users!

III. Launching Auto Farm

1. Launch VCAF bot software ("TAG" farm type Example, Planetary ONLY).

Each time you launch VCAF bot, please do not touch your mouse and keyboard until you will see your ingame ID and Base level in VCAF Bot Log area, and button "START" in "START" tab will appear.

2. Choose right configurations of your fleets for auto farming.

See our Farm guide section where the useful fleets configurations are described.

3. Adjust your VCAF bot settings.

Adjust your settings for bot in all available tabs (you can find descriptions for all those settings in bottom of that page).

4. Select VEGA/VSEC fleet for hunting.

Choose tagged PLANETARY VEGA/VSEC fleet (1-27 Lvl) which you want to be attacked by bot. If you have already tagged VEGA/VSEC fleet, just select him in bookmarks menu (fourth icon from the right in top right corner of the game window) in "Tagged" tab. Or if you don't have it tagged already, then select needed VEGA/VSEC fleet on the planet which you want to attack and press "Tag" on the second button in bottom center part of the game window.

If you need sector farm (fleets with 30+ Lvls), then use "SEC HUNT" or "SEC BAIT" farm types. Look their description below on this page.

5. Press "START" button in VCAF bot window.

Enjoy :) If you don't selected option "Block mouse input", then turn off your mouse or simply move it away.

Bot remote control

You can add and delete orders only in your profile page.

All orders have inaccuracy on the execution time from 0 to 15 minutes.

Once you see the "executed" appears in the status bot into your profile - this means that the bot received, confirmed and started to execute the order.

With orders with delayed execution you can schedule the bot as you wish.

As example, you can repair all fleets by adding a few commands "STOP bot and AWAIT orders from server" at certain intervals of time, because for each execution of this order bot running VEGA Conflict, attempt to repair fleets and then close the game.

Vega Conflict Bot Settings tabs

Bot types ("START" tab)

"TAG" - bot will farm "Tagged" vega/vsec fleets on planet ONLY. You need to select "Tagged" fleet (in "Bookmarks" -> "Tagged") before launching the bot.

"ANTI" - bot will farm antimatter fleet near antimatter fields only. You need to select Vega fleets, which will be attacked by bot, in "ANTI" tab. You can use "Farm antimatter" option, if you want to farm antimatter additionally to main farm. See "Farm antimatter" option description for details.

"SEC BAIT" - bot will send fleets to location, specified (stored) in bookmarks by you (in the "Bookmarks" -> "Bookmarks"). This type of farming suitable for the Civil War (put a bookmark in the enemy sector), as well get blueprints and resources from VSec 30+ fleets in the sector (put a bookmark on the VSec route). After each attack on your fleets bot will send them to the base, repair and send back. I draw your attention to the fact that the bot doesn't attack fleets, he just waits for an attack on your fleets.

"SEC HUNT" - bot will farm fleets in sector location, specified by you. This type of farming suitable for many purposes: get VSec and Vega blueprints from 30+ Lvls fleets (tier 3+), get crafting materials T3+, completing riots and events. Read starting guide for this farm type by this link.

NOTE: "Antimatter farm" option will NOT work for this farm type. Use remote control to change bot type to "TAG" or "ANTI", if you need additional Antimatter.

NOTE: Choose "Advanced" in "SP Repair type" option for this bot type.

"PLN HUNT" - Bot will farm selected fleets in "PHUNT" tab of selected types (for now only Supply, Rebels, VSec/Overwatch and Demon Corps) and levels on the planet.

NOTE: Choose "Advanced" in "SP Repair type" option for this bot type. It is recommended to use "Bot speed 9", if you want to farm "Supply" fleets.

ATTENTION: This bot type is still BETA and there is no Cargo and Antimatter fleets types.

"Wait RO" - bot will close game window and will await remote orders from server (read "Bot remote control" section).

Tab "ALL"

Fleets 1 - 7

"None"* type - bot will do nothing with those fleets (except when you will press 'F1' or 'F2' keys).

"Work"* type - bot will use those fleets for selected farm type or action.

"Repair"* type - bot will NOT use those fleets for any actions, except repairing them.

SP Repair type (Single piece ships repair)

"None"* - bot will NOT try to repair fleet with one by one ship repair in fleet manager window, only whole fleets.

"Simple"* - if whole fleet cannot be instantly repaired then ships will be repaired one by one in fleet manager window. Suitable for fleets with instant repair of each ship (total defence of each ship is equal or under 300 points). ATTENTION! If game will disconnected in process of such repair then fleet can be not full.

"Advanced" - Advanced Single Piece repair system suitable for all fleets range. Smart humanlike repair system will repair all of yours ships one by one in fleet manager window. Example: fleet with 6 Venom battleship without armor and shield. Total repair time of whole fleet is 36 minutes (6 mins for each ship). With this option this fleet will be repaired in 6 minutes + time for remove and install ships + time for bot exemption from other activities (usually - farming). ATTENTION! If game will disconnected in process of such repair then fleet can be not full.

NOTE: when bot is stopped you can press "F1" key and bot will repair all yours fleets with Simple/Advanced method.

Move wnd* (Move Vega Conflict window)

This function move Vega Conflict window to the top left corner of display so that crop title and border of window. ATTENTION!!! If your monitor vertical resolution is below 800 pixels you must use this option.

Computer speed*

"Normal" - all delays is optimized for use on desktop computers or powerful notebooks.

"Slow" - all delays is optimized for use on notebooks or slow desktop computers.

"Very slow" - all delays is optimized for use on slow computers/notebooks and virtual machines.

Bot speed

Bot speed 9 - High speed. We recommend to use this speed only if other players or bots farming same vega/vsec on planet.

Bot speed 7 - Normal speed. We recommend to use this speed in most cases.

Bot speed 5 - Medium Slow. We recommend to use this speed for cooperative farming of same vega/vsec with other players or bots.

Bot speed 3* - Slow. Little slower than 5 speed with additional short and long pauses (during long pauses the game will be closed).

NOTE: bot speed 5- only affects "TAG" farm type.

Attack near Complex

Allow bot to attack vega/vsec fleets near Processing Complex. We recommend disable this option for fast vega/vsec fleets, such as "Cargo".

Feedforward warp

In most cases (over 80%) bot will try to feedforward warp in ahead of flying trajectory of vega/vsec fleets. Sometimes you can see no feedforward warp, but it's becase this is unnecessary (aimed position is suitable for warp) and bot decides to warp at already aimed position (it happens very frequently with slow vega/vsec fleets).

Base Defense at events

Bot will press "Defense Base" button at events and wait until it will be finished. If "Start Repairing" button will appears, bot will press it also.

If your base damaged to 65% or less, bot will not push "Defend base" button some time. For bases with levels 40+ pauses will be approximately 45, 90 and 120 minutes for <65%, <50% <30% respectively. For bases with levels 39- pauses will be approximately 40, 60 and 90 minutes for <65%, <50% <30% respectively. This is necessary in order after 3-5 hours of bot farming your base brings you maximum points, otherwise Vega fleets will completely destroy it, and you will receive a small amount of points over time.

Block mouse input

This option will block mouse input until you press "Esc" button on keyboard. NOTE: this option is not blocking keyboard input!

Alliance help

Bot will press "HELP ALL" in "Alliance" menu, tab "Help".

Open strongboxes

Bot will press "OPEN ALL" in "Workshop" menu ("Inventory" tab) with random period of time. It is necessary in order to avoid slowing down the accumulation of strongboxes over time.

Warping in wider radius

It means what it says :).

Recall fleets, while warp

Bot will recall all damaged fleets while warping to target.

Recall not damaged fleets

Recall fleets that were in the battle, but did not receive any damage. Ex: you set fleets on farm, which will not receive any damage in most cases of battles with Vega target fleets, but they carry resources from defeated Vega fleets and bot can reuse these fleets. Use this option, if you need this resources.

Farm antimatter

Bot will additionally farm antimatter, if its quantity below 90-97% (random selected by bot per session). You need to select Vega fleets, which will be attacked by bot, in "ANTI" tab. Also, select "Anti/Hel" checkboxes in "ALL" tab for fleets, which you want to be used by bot for farm antimatter. DO NOT set "None" for checked "Anti/Hel" fleets! Use "Repair" or "Work" for them!

NOTE: do not use same fleet as "Work" and "Anti/Hel" for "SEC BAIT" farm type. Set "Repair" for checked "Anti/Hel" fleets.

NOTE: for "SEC SHUNT" farm type this option will NOT work. Use remote control to change bot type to "TAG" or "ANTI", if you need additional Antimatter.

Check space, before warp

Bot will check empty space before clicking on it. This is allow to avoid a very rare bug, where TAG fleet is changing. Also it increase overall farm performance.

* - available for all.

"Rest duration from ... to ... time" - in minutes.

"Chance of rest" - the probability of making the decision to make rest for the bot.

NOTE: there are MIN and MAX values for each parameter, just hover over the input field and you will see this values in tooltips.

If he will not find any allowed fleet near one of the "Processing complexes" he will move to next one and will search again, and so on.

NOTE: Choose "Advanced" in "SP Repair type" option for this bot type. It is recommended to use "Bot speed 9", if you want to farm "Supply" fleets.
